We've named the individual banquet halls after their entrance street addresses, which are '181 W Main' and '124 S South' respectively.

A NOD TO THE PAST: THE BUILDING'S LEGACY

Gastonian Halls pays tribute to its roots as the original site of The Eagle Five & Dime Store, a venture that began in 1917 under the visionary Morris Kaplan. For more than half a century, The Eagle Five & Dime Store stood as a cornerstone in the Gastonia community until its doors closed in 1968. The cherished memories of this iconic store continue to thrive in the hearts of many Gastonians, and its spirit is carried forward in the charm and character of today's Gastonian Halls.
